Day 1 LAX / Kunming
Depart LAX for China at 1150PM by Chins Southern Airlines nonstop flight (Boeing 777). Cross the Int'l dateline.

On the way to China.
Day 3 Kunming (D)
Arrive in Guangzhou at 620AM. After clearing the China immigration and customs, connect China Southern flight for Kunming, 840AM - 1055AM. Upon Kunming or Harbor Plaza Kunming for 2 nights with daily breakfast. Afternoon tour of bird and flower market, Yunnan Provincial Museum and other city highlights.
Day 4 Kunming (B L)
Full-day tour to the famed Stone Forest and minority village. Enjoy an exciting day in the mysterious Stone Forest, a typical karsts topography. Taste the well-known tea of Yunnan. Return to Kunming later today and back to your hotel.
Day 5 Kunming - Dali (B L)
CITS transfer to airport for your flight Dali. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to Asia Star Hotel for 2 nights with daily breakfast. Afternoon tour in Dali, known for its minority groups living there.
Day 6 Dali (B L)
Full-day private tour. Three Pagodas, Er Hai Lake, the old town and minority village with other sights.
Day 7 Dali (B L)
After breakfast, depart Dali for Li Jiang by private coach and guide for the 3-hour drive, with stops on the way to visit local villages, Upon arrival, check into Guan Fang hotel Li Jiang or Grand Hotel Li Jiang for 2 nights with daily breakfast. Afternoon city tour. Visit Black-Dragon Pool, Ancient Dayan Town. This evening enjoy a minority show.
Day 8 Li Jiang (B L)
Full-day tour to visit Dragon Spruce Meadow or Yak Meadow, Snow-capped Yulong Mountain, the Gan Sean, Baishui River, Jade Peak Temple and Baisha Fresco.
Day 9 Li Jiang - Zhongdian (B L D)
Depart Li Jiang for Zhongdian, or better known as Shangri-la by private coach with guide. Travel overland today to Tiger Leaping Gorge to see the mighty Yangtze River as it roars 10,000 feed below. Continue on to the village of Shigu (Stone Drum), which lies as the point where the Yangtze makes its great northward turn. Arrive to your hotel located in Zhongdian, considered the seat of Kharpa Tibetan culture in Yunnan. Check into Zhongdian Paradise Hotel for 2 nights with daily breakfast. Afternoon tour. Bita Lake, and local Tibetan family visiting.
Day 10 Zhongdian (Shangri-La) (B L D)

Transfer to airport for flight back to Kunming. Then connect same day flight to Jing Hong (Xi Shuang Banna). Upon arrival, meet and transfer to Thai Garden Hotel for 2 nights with daily breakfast.
Day 12 Xi Shuang Banna (B L D)
Full-day tour; Dai Village, local temples, Asian Elephant Valley and Botanical Garden, and other sights.
Day 13 Xi Shuang Banna - Kunming - Guangzhou - LAX (B)
Transfer to airport for your flight back to Kunming. Connect afternoon flight to Guangzhou, 435PM - 615PM. Then depart Guangzhou for LAX by China Southern Airline nonstop flight back to Los Angeles, 900PM - 650PM. End of your memorable Southwestern China trip.
